Excessive Neurotypicalism

I think we have seen from the meltdown of Britney Spears' life the problem of excessive neurotypicalism.

When life has to be one big party all the time, that is a problem just as the opposite extreme, a person with no social skills, is a problem.

Autism, the word, comes from the prefix, "auto," which means "self." So, the idea is that autism is a hyperfocus on the self to the exclusion of others. In its extreme, it means no connection with people--no eye contact, no language, etc.

But Britney seems to be pretty well focused on self, even if she is able to use language, make eye contact, and read social cues.

Maybe she needs some ABA therapy!!
